I’m Jasper. I came to building apps after making movies, and I still work the way I used to shoot: figure out what the thing is actually about, then work out how to make it. The story always leads the project. I enjoy working with people who are passionate about what they do.

01 Previously on
Small tools, short client jobs, and a few big enough that I’m years in and still going. Most of it built to take work off somebody’s hands. I’ve lost the order it all happened in, and that’s the part that gets me: all of it compresses down to about a paragraph. The scale kept changing. The habit never did. Ask about any one of them and you’ll get the long version.

Small on purpose
Build the smallest version that works, then put it in front of real people. Scale only what they prove is worth it.
Ship to find out
Nothing is real until a stranger is using it on a Tuesday morning and complaining about it.
AI is the future
It raised the ceiling on what one person can finish. Knowing what is worth building is still on me.
